My favorite spring perfumes!

Hello my loves!
Today, I'm going to share with you guys my favorite perfumes for spring! Some of these I've had for years, and some are recent purchases, but either way they're all gorgeous!
Let's begin!
My first favorite is from a place that used to be in the town center near my summer house, but they closed. Luckily, they have an online website where you can order their stuff. They sell oils that are exact matches to designer fragrances, and household essences, which are what I tend to go for. My favorite of the ones I have is "Juicy Peach" which smells exactly like it sounds. It's a very sweet, fruity fragrance oil. And, since it is an oil, it lasts for hours and hours and hours. Plus, it doesn't have that alcoholey taste/smell!
You can browse different fragrances or buy "Juicy Peach" here

My second favorite is my classic spring/summer scent. It's very beachy and fresh and clean smelling, which is exactly what I want to smell like most of the time! I mean, who doesn't want to smell clean. Anyway, this fragrance is called "Dolce and Gabana Light Blue" I purchased this at my local bloomingdales last year for a going-into-high school fragrance and it has been a staple in my perfume collection ever since. It's definitely one I'm going to keep repurchasing forever! Whenever I wear it, I get tons and tons of compliments. Plus, they also make this for men! If you're looking for a nice cologne for your guy, definitely check out the male verison. Anyway, you can buy "Dolce and Gabana Light Blue" here

My third favorite is one by Bath and Body works that has been released in the past year. It's called "Forever Sunshine" and it's a very clean/sweet/flirty smell. There also might be a bit of musk in it, but it's very light. On the website, Bath and Body works says that its top notes are juicy tangerine, golden apricot, sparkling mandarin, exotic berries. Those are very noticeable but not overwhelming, making the fragrance just sweet enough. The mid notes are gardenia petals, freesia, and pink peonies, so that's where the clean/girly part of the fragrance comes in. I'm a huge sucker for anything floral smelling, so now I know why I love this one so much! The dry notes are vanilla bean gelato, creamy sandalwood, nuzzly musks, and a touch of sweet praline, so that's where the musk comes in. Overall, I would describe this as a clean/sexy fragrance. You can purchase this here

Next is another new Bath and Body works fragrance called "Country Chic". It's a sweet and flirty smell, definitely perfect for daytime! The website tells us that the key notes are sparkling lemon, bright wildflowers, and spring woods. Basically, this is everything I look for in a fragrance.  It's clean due to the lemon, floral due to the wildflowers, and musky due to the spring woods. I think this one will be one of my staple scents for the summer. I haven't used it much due to the fact that we just got out of winter and I have a huge perfume collection, but I'm excited to start using this one more! You can buy it here.

Next is a fragrance that has been my favorite fragrance since 5th grade, when my classmate Shefali gave it to me as a birthday present. Then, Bath and Body works took it out of stores for years and I lost all hope. But, one day earlier this year, I was online shopping and I found it on the website! And the best part? They were doing buy 3 get 3 free! So I stocked up. I bet you're all wondering what the heck I'm talking about, what is this mystery fragrance? Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is called "Pink Grapefruit". It smells exactly like it sounds. It's clean and sweet and the best thing that has ever blessed the Bath and Body works website. Grapefruit happens to be my all time favorite scent if you couldn't tell, so obviously a pure grapefruit smelling fragrance is a dream come true. I wear this perfume all year round, so it really is timeless. You can buy it here.

Now onto my next 3 which I call: Strictly Clean. These fragrances aren't sweet or musky or floral, they're, well, "strictly clean" They're my go-to clean scents. Let's start with cheapest to most expensive, shall we? My first is one that I've had for 3 years called "Blue Ocean" from Essence of Beauty, which can be found at CVS. The description of this fragrance is "Exhilarating. This cool exhilarating scent will send you on a rush of surfing crisp, clean waves then have you relaxing in the warm sand." Basically, it's a really clean scent. No surprise. I don't really know how else to describe it, but I've repurchased this time and time again. It's the best drugstore fragrance in the entire world. You can purchase it at your local CVS.

Next is one by Pink, but I don't know if they make it anymore. It's called "cucumber and waterlily" It's a light clean scent with minor hints of floralness due to the waterlily. For 3 years, this was the only fragrance I brought with me to camp. After running around all day, it was the perfect pick me up. No time to take a shower before dinner? Spritz this on and you'll be good to go until, obviously, you can shower. Unfortunately, Pink doesn't make this fragrance anymore, but you could probably find it on Ebay or Amazon.

Hope you all enjoyed!

My Spring Fashion Wishlist: Romwe

Disclaimer: I will most likely not be buying any of this due to the fact that I'm going shopping in New York next week at Asos and Topshop, plus I don't think that Romwe is a freestanding store. However, if I don't find anything good in NY (which I highly doubt), I'll order one (or a few) of these.

Review: YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick

Hi loves :)
You'd know if you've seen my most recent webcam vlog (you can find it here) that I'm currently cleaning out my makeup collection for spring & IMATS. While doing so, I was organizing my lipsticks and came across my one luxury lipstick, my YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in the color 13, which is a peach color.
I'll start with the packaging.
The packaging is gorgeous, gold top and bottom and middle design, that has a YSL thingy on it and the color of the lipstick as the center of the tube. It's heavier than my mac lipsticks but not as heavy as other higher end ones. It's +$30 which is outrageous for a freaking lipstick.
Pros: packaging
Cons: price
Now onto the formula.
The color, like I said, is a really nice peach color. I have a weird skintone, I'm really really pale (Chanel Vitalumier Aqua B10, Clinique Superbalanced Makeup in Breeze, paler than mac NC20) but I have an olive skintone, therefore I have a bit of yellow in my body, but my face is pink, even though  I have broken capillaries and acne scars. When I first tried the lipstick on in the store I didn't know if it looked good on me, my Revlon lipsticks, even in really cool colors, looked good. This is a warm coral peach, which the lady at the counter convinced me that it looked great on me, so i bought it. My lips have lines in them so sometimes, most of the time actually, my lipstick catches in the lines and after a few minutes of wear, or a lip primer, it smooths out. The formula is so so so so so so SO creamy that it doesn't settle in my lips/smooth out like all other lipsticks. This makes me not want to wear it at all to be honest.
Pros: packaging, color
Cons: price, color, formula
I tried pairing this lipstick with lipglosses or lipstains underneath and, unfortunately, it made it worse. Obviously it altered the color but it didn't help the wear at all. The lipstick doesn't work with other lip products and it slides around on your lips, even if they're moisturized.
Pros: packaging, color
Cons: price, color, formula x2
Basically, I'm really disappointed with this lipstick.
All in all: Don't get it.

Review: NARS tinted moisturizer

Hello my loves! I'm back with a review!
This weekend I went to Sephora looking for a new tinted moisturizer for the summer and got a sample of the new NARS tinted moisturizer. I've been using it for the past few days and thought I'd give y'all a heads up.
Lets start with the numbers, it has something like +50 SPF (which is amazing for the summer) and is $42 (which isn't amazing). They have a solid range of colors, but not a whole lot. The packaging is sleek like all other NARS products. To be completely honest, I'm such a sucker for NARS everything.
The pros: it's a NARS product, the SPF
The cons: the price
It's said that the coverage is light, but in reality it gives little to no coverage at all. I have broken capillaries on my cheeks and acne scaring from previous spots and it does nothing to cover them. Mind you, I wear light-medium coverage foundations and even my lightest coverage foundation evens out my skin-tone. It slides on my skin and it takes a while to set in, so when I'm applying my blusher or contour colors, I accidentally move around my foundation.
The pros: It's a NARS product, the SPF
The cons: the price, the coverage
And, what really got me on this product, was the fact that you have to use a primer before you apply it. Yes, you heard me, you need to prime your skin to use this tinted moisturizer. I used my Benefit Porefessional, which is a great primer, and it did make it last for most of the day. However, it didn't make the overall look of the tinted moisturizer look better.
The pros: It's a NARS product, the SPF
The cons: the price, the coverage, the wear, and the fact that you have to use a primer before you put it on.
That's all for my review!
All in all: do not get this product, it's not worth the price.

Ashley :)
